What QC photos can and cannot prove
QC photos can show what arrived at the warehouse: color, size tag, obvious flaws, shape, print placement, stitching, labels, included accessories, and packaging condition. They are valuable because they are tied to your actual item, not only the seller listing.
QC photos cannot guarantee comfort, long-term durability, authenticity, electronics function, customs outcome, or personal fit preference. They reduce uncertainty, but they do not remove all risk.
Start by comparing against your order
Before inspecting details, confirm the basics: item type, color, size, quantity, model, and selected variant. Many bad outcomes come from ordering the wrong option or assuming the seller would interpret a vague note correctly.
Keep the live listing open while reviewing QC. The spreadsheet title may be shorter or older than the current product page, so the live listing is the better comparison point.
Category-specific QC checks
For shoes, inspect full-pair shape, toe, heel, side profile, outsole, tongue, size tag, and pair symmetry. For hoodies and clothing, inspect measurements, front/back layout, print or embroidery placement, stitching, cuffs, hem, tags, and fabric appearance.
For bags, inspect structure, straps, handles, zippers, hardware, lining, logo placement if relevant, and dimensions. For electronics, be much stricter because a photo may not prove function, battery condition, charging safety, or region compatibility.
When to request more photos
Request extra photos when the key risk is not visible. If shoe heels are hidden, ask for a rear angle. If a hoodie size is uncertain, ask for measurements. If a bag looks folded or compressed, ask for a structure photo.
Extra photos should answer a specific question. Do not ask for more images just to feel safer; ask because a shipping decision depends on the missing evidence.
Approve, return, exchange, or hold
If the item is correct and the flaws are acceptable, approve it for parcel planning. If the wrong variant arrived, visible damage appears, measurements are unacceptable, or the item clearly does not match the listing, act before international shipping.
Returns and exchanges are usually easier while the item is still in the warehouse. After shipment, the cost and difficulty rise sharply.
FAQ
Are Acbuy QC photos enough to approve shipping?
They are enough only when they answer your main concerns. If size, color, shape, or included parts are unclear, ask for more evidence before shipping.
Should I ask for measurements?
For clothing and fit-sensitive items, measurements are often worth requesting because size labels can vary widely between sellers.
What if QC photos show the wrong item?
Handle the issue before international shipping. Check return or exchange options through the agent workflow while the item is still in the warehouse.
